Our Company
Third Dimension Textile Solutions specialize in designing and manufacturing drop-stitch textiles. Based in Spring City, Tennessee our materials are exclusively manufactured in the USA and comply with the Berry Amendment.
Our drop-stitch can be supplied uncoated or coated with TPU, PVC, CR (Neoprene) & CSM (Hypalon). Other coatings available on request.
Available from 0.9”-30” (23mm-762mm), with many popular depths supplied from stock. Typically manufactured using nylon or polyester - high performance yarn variants are available on request.
In addition to supplying drop-stitch material, we offer domestic supply chain solutions for drop-stitch bladders and finished inflatables.
Drop-Stitch Fabric
Drop-stitch, drop-thread, or double wall fabric, consists of two independently woven layers connected by thousands of pile threads. It’s unique structure facilitates the construction of inflatables with flat surfaces which can be inflated to rock-hard rigidity. Drop-stitch facilitates the performance of hard-shell rigid structures, combined with the easy transportation and storage of inflatables.
Typical end uses include: inflatable boat bottoms, kayaks, lifting bags, rigid inflatable walls, rescue rafts, structural membranes, inflatable screens, paddle boards, inflatable docks, flood protection and gymnastics flooring.
